The Ile Perrot Minor Hockey Association (HMIP) is extremely proud to announce registration for the 17th edition of our annual holiday tradition known as ”’À Bout de Souffle 3 vs 3” tournament is now open for all. Bout de Souffle, roughly translated to ”Out of Breath”, is a fun high energy 3 vs. 3 full ice event featuring many short duration games. This has been an annual event offered by the HMIP for all players ages U9 (Novice) to U18 (Midget) which never disappoints!!! The event is open to players of all abilities whether you play in the HMIP, another Minor Hockey Association or whether you are playing school hockey. Players sign-up as individuals and are placed on teams with the goal of creating a balanced fun environment for all.
Every year the ”À Bout de Souffle 3 vs 3” tournament offers numerous highlights whether it is younger players enjoying their 1st or 2nd event or whether it is older players enjoying their 4th or 5th addition. It’s always a highlight of the event seeing returning HMIP alumni reconnect with players they use to play with in their formative years.
What are the goals of the ”À Bout de Souffle 3 vs 3” tournament?
- Promote a balanced competition thus allowing everyone to maximize their experience.
- Encourage all players to skate, pass and play the game at a fast pace in a fun and safe environment while maximizing the amount of ice time for each player with small teams and multiple short games.
- Push the kids until they are Out of Breath!
PLACE: Aréna Cité des jeunes (Vaudreuil, Québec)
DATE: From December 27-30th, 2022.
U18 – Dec 30th at 10am
TIME: Depends on the level ( Registration is 45 minutes before start time)
(exact dates / times will be confirmed 4-5 days prior to the event)
ADDITONAL INFORMATION:
- Space in the event is extremely limited, every year the HMIP turns players away. There can only be a maximum of 6 players + a goalie per team. 48 players + 8 goalies maximum per age group ** Register NOW **
- All players must bring a white and dark jersey to the event
- All players must present themselves 45 minutes before their 1st game.
- Bout de Souffle is a non-contact event for all age categories and divisions.
REGISTRATION:
Registration is completed only once the Registration form is submitted AND the registration fee is paid.
Cost: 50$ e-transfert including snack & juice
