The Île Perrot Minor Hockey Association (HMIP) is thrilled to announce that registration for the 19th edition of our annual holiday tradition, Bout de Souffle, will open on December 1st! Bout de Souffle, which translates to Out of Breath, is an exciting, high-energy, 3-on-3 full-ice event featuring multiple short-duration games. This annual event, offered by HMIP, is open to players from M9 (Novice) to M18 (Midget) and is always a crowd favorite! Players from all abilities are welcome—whether you’re part of the HMIP, another Minor Hockey Association, or play school hockey. Participants register individually and are placed on balanced teams to ensure a fun and fair experience for all.

Event Highlights:

Each year, Bout de Souffle delivers unforgettable moments! Whether it’s younger players enjoying their first or second event, or older participants competing in their fourth or fifth, the energy is unmatched. A special highlight is watching HMIP alumni reconnect with former teammates and relive their formative hockey memories.

Goals of Bout de Souffle:

• Promote Balanced Competition: Ensuring all participants maximize their experience.
• Encourage Skill Development: Players are challenged to skate, pass, and play at a fast pace in a safe and fun environment. Small teams and multiple short games (6–7 minutes each) provide maximum ice time.
• Push Everyone to Their Limits: True to its name, the event leaves players Out of Breath!

Event Details:

Location: Aréna Cité des Jeunes (Vaudreuil, Québec) Additional Information:

• Space is limited! Each team will consist of 6 players + 1 goalie. A maximum of 48 players + 8 goalies per age group will be accepted. Register quickly to secure your spot!
• All players must bring both a white and dark jersey to the event.
• Players are required to arrive 30–45 minutes before their first game.
• Non-contact event for all age categories and divisions.
